Consumptions “R” US. Offering new design perspectives with the heading Consumption “R” Us, university students and those interested are invited to join activities in order to build awareness and gather opinions regarding life-styles and the health of Thai people today. Many procedures have been carried out including observation, participation and experimentation. Results from these activities will be implemented into design work dealing with surroundings, problem solving method, space and buildings. Activities include a seminar, finding human consumption behavior and habits through photos, videos and sketches analysis of data and presentation of information and data for further design development. All will be presented at Bangkok Design Festival 2007.

What is It?
First began in 2007, Consumptions "R" US is an annual design workshop during Bangkok Design Festival. It aims to create a discussion and awareness of people’s well-being and health in contemporary consumption in Thailand, from different perspectives through observations, interventions and design experiments. The area of attention is vast: Design objects, scenarios, solutions, space, buildings in our contemporary life. It is led by Rachaporn Choochuey and Pim Sudhikam.
